Welcome to Hereford Judo Club. We are a friendly, family orientated Club which has over 55 years experience of teaching Judo.
Hereford Judo Club is affiliated to the British Judo Association, the sports National Governing Body.
Our Coaches (Steve, Gerald & Stan) are BJA Dan grades, (Black Belts) UKCC Level 2 or 3 Coaches and hold Certificates in First Aid, Safeguarding Children, and have been DBS checked.
Our Club caters for Junior’s starting from 8 years old to Senior’s (Adult’s) of all abilities. We are very proud of our strong female contingment, which proves Judo is a sport for all, not just the guys.
We are based at Hereford Leisure Centre. Training sessions are on a Friday evening, starting at 6.30 pm until 8.00 pm. Your first two training sessions are free. Further training sessions cost £3.50 for Junior’s and £4.50 for Adults. A family concession is available for three or more members of the same family attending a training session. A Student discount is available on production of your Student card. Please contact the registration desk if you believe you are eligble for a discount.
Please contact the Club on 0777 321 5645 for more details.
As a BJA affiliated Club we are obliged to inform you that the BJA operate a:-
'No Licence - No Judo' policy.
Training without a license offers no Insurance cover for either the unlicensed player or his opponent.
Full Judo licenses enable students to grade via the coloured belt system. It also allows you to enter local and national competitions, which we actively encourage.
All licenses are checked monthly by the Club against the BJA membership list.
