Well done to everyone that has taken a grading over the past few weeks. Congratulations on being promoted to your new grade.

If you wish to be graded please speak to your Coach.

You will need a licence that is:

a) In date

b) Correctly completed with your details and has your photograph in it.

c) Is signed by you.

You will be given the correct Judo theory test paper for you to learn. When you have learnt it, speak to your Coach about taking your grading test.

The cost of registering your grade with the BJA is £10.00

Remember if you have not learnt your Judo theory, or your licence is not correct.

You will not be able to grade.

Members are reminded that new Judogi suits can be purchased through the Club at discounted rates.  Any parents with second hand suits please see the Judo desk.

Due to the snow in January the Club closed for two weeks. We have since learnt that some members did not get the message about the Club closing because their contact details were out of date.

The committee are in the process of updating the membership and contact details of all members.

New membership forms have now been issued. If you have not had a form please ask at the Judo desk.

Please assist us by returning the completed forms as soon as possible.

The Club is still looking for additional help with the scoreboard and timekeeping, for competitions.  If any members or parents are interested in learning to be an Official Timekeeper please leave your name at the desk and we will try to arrange a Timekeeper’s course.

The 2013 Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 5th April, 2013

Please note the Club will be closed on Good Friday, 29th March 2013.
